Tettix the featured artist on 8bit FM!

8bit FM is an amazing internet radio station that only plays video game soundtracks, remixes and original chiptunes compositions. If you're not familiar, get so. It's incredible. They were also kind enough to make me the featured artist for the moment!

Tettix on Jet Set Zero

Jedidiah over at Jet Set Zero was kind enough to use "The Graves of Good Humans" from Tech Crisis II at the end of their latest episode. For something that sounds like an SNES, It's surprisingly beautiful set to the video. Jet Set Zero is a video diary/documentary on traveling abroad with little to no cash. Four guys put their lives aside, got $10-an-hour jobs for three months to prove anyone could do it, then set off. You can follow their story a bit more closely than you'd imagine if you're frugal.

I just finished up a new concept EP chronicaling the life and demise of an evil tyrant.
Cicada - now Tettix.

After almost a decade of creating music under the moniker "Cicada," I've switched my name to "Tettix" to help differentiate myself from the hundreds of other Cicadas out there. Tettix is the ancient greek term for the cicada.
